ISL PhD and Honours Scholarships : 03-06-2008
Intelligent Systems Laboratory in the School of Computing and Mathematics has one PhD scholarship and a number of Honours scholarships available.

The PhD scholarship is specifically for the area of intelligent agents, and Honours scholarships may support research from any area of intelligent agents, knowledge representation and reasoning, image process, information security and databases.

some students who tried to enroll for this unit for the Spring Semester were unable to do so because required prerequisites were incorrectly entered on the system. This has been now corrected, so if you need to enroll for Comp Org, please do it now. Note that this is compulsory unit for the first year of BCompSc students.

Maths Students: SUMS Problem Competition : 12-05-2008
Sydney University Mathematics Society is running their annual problem competition. Entry is open to undergraduates (including Honours students) at any Australian university or tertiary institution, and prizes ($60 book vouchers from the Co-op Bookshop) will be awarded for the best correct solution to each of the 10 problems.
